Imagine fitting all these services onto a shingle: family practice, chiropractic care, minor surgery, physical therapy, acupuncture, herbs, nerve blocks, sports medicine and pain control.

"Here we have it all under one roof," Buncher said. "We combine everything." About 90 patients a day come for the variety of treatments available. That includes patients with trauma and sports injuries, chronic diseases like arthritis, sickle cell anemia, migraines and phantom pains from amputations.

Treatments are just as varied. There are medications, chiropractic manipulations and physical and massage therapy. "Patients first need to be evaluated by traditional medical means to be sure their ailments don't stem from diseases that can be treated," Buncher said. But there are patients who find modern medicine can't help them, often people with chronic pain or fibromyalgia. That's why Buncher prefers to call this "integrated" or “complimentary" medicine. He sees it working with Western medicine, not against it.
